Barangay Sanipon

Situated in Kibawe, Bukidnon, Barangay Sanipon is one of 23 barangays that make up the municipality within Northern Mindanao.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Sanipon had a population of 1,062. This made it the 17th largest of 23 barangays in Kibawe by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Sanipon accounted for approximately 2.53% of the total population of Kibawe, which stood at 41,897 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Sanipon moving from 932 residents to 1,062 residents, an intercensal change of +13.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Sanipon as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Kibawe is a municipality comprising 23 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Sanipon, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
