Barangay Balili

Situated in La Trinidad, Benguet, Barangay Balili is one of 16 barangays that make up the municipality within CAR.

This made it the 2nd largest of 16 barangays in La Trinidad by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Balili accounted for approximately 12.92% of the total population of La Trinidad, which stood at 137,404 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Balili changed from 18,962 to 17,756, a shift of -6.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in La Trinidad. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Balili as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

La Trinidad is a municipality comprising 16 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Balili, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Benguet, which contains 269 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Balili ranks 2nd by 2020 population. Benguet is classified as a 2nd by the Bureau of Local Government Finance, a category that reflects the province's annual regular income.
