Barangay Betag

Barangay Betag forms part of La Trinidad, a municipality in Benguet, and is classified as a large barangay.

This made it the 5th largest of 16 barangays in La Trinidad by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Betag changed from 9,747 to 9,297, a shift of -4.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in La Trinidad. Barangay Betag is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

La Trinidad is a municipality comprising 16 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Betag, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Benguet, which contains 269 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Betag ranks 8th by 2020 population.
