Barangay Lubas

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Lubas is one of the administrative divisions of La Trinidad in Benguet, CAR, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Lubas had a population of 7,708. This made it the 8th largest of 16 barangays in La Trinidad by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lubas accounted for approximately 5.61% of the total population of La Trinidad, which stood at 137,404 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Lubas changed from 6,159 to 7,708, a shift of +25.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in La Trinidad. Barangay Lubas is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

La Trinidad is a municipality comprising 16 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Lubas, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Benguet, which contains 269 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Lubas ranks 17th by 2020 population. The barangay's legislative and executive affairs are handled by a Punong Barangay and the Sangguniang Barangay, elected nationwide during the Barangay and SK Elections. The next BSKE is scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, following the synchronized election schedule set by COMELEC Resolution No. 11191.
