Barangay Bacdulong

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Bacdulong is one of the administrative divisions of Lake Sebu in South Cotabato, SOCCSKSARGEN, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bacdulong had a population of 2,138. This made it the 16th largest of 19 barangays in Lake Sebu by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bacdulong accounted for approximately 2.63% of the total population of Lake Sebu, which stood at 81,221 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Bacdulong moving from 2,112 residents to 2,138 residents, an intercensal change of +1.2%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Bacdulong as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Lake Sebu is a municipality comprising 19 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Bacdulong, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
