Barangay Pinguiaman

Barangay Pinguiaman is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Lambayong, located in the province of Sultan Kudarat, in the SOCCSKSARGEN region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Pinguiaman had a population of 2,133. This made it the 20th largest of 26 barangays in Lambayong by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pinguiaman accounted for approximately 2.67% of the total population of Lambayong, which stood at 79,739 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Pinguiaman moving from 3,378 residents to 2,133 residents, an intercensal change of -36.9%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Pinguiaman is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
