Barangay H. Jolejole

Barangay H. Jolejole is a very small barangay in the municipality of Las Navas, located in the province of Northern Samar, in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay H. Jolejole had a population of 406. This made it the 32nd largest of 53 barangays in Las Navas by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay H. Jolejole accounted for approximately 1.11% of the total population of Las Navas, which stood at 36,621 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 487 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 406 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -16.6%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay H. Jolejole is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Las Navas is a municipality comprising 53 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay H. Jolejole, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
