Barangay L. Empon

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay L. Empon is one of the administrative divisions of Las Navas in Northern Samar, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay L. Empon had a population of 561. This made it the 25th largest of 53 barangays in Las Navas by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay L. Empon accounted for approximately 1.53% of the total population of Las Navas, which stood at 36,621 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 520 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 561 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +7.9%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay L. Empon is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
