Barangay Quirino

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Quirino is one of the administrative divisions of Las Navas in Northern Samar, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Quirino had a population of 1,370. This made it the 7th largest of 53 barangays in Las Navas by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Quirino accounted for approximately 3.74% of the total population of Las Navas, which stood at 36,621 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Quirino moving from 1,252 residents to 1,370 residents, an intercensal change of +9.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Quirino is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Las Navas is a municipality comprising 53 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Quirino, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
