Barangay San Jorge

Situated in Las Navas, Northern Samar, Barangay San Jorge is one of 53 barangays that make up the municipality within Eastern Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Jorge had a population of 1,125. This made it the 9th largest of 53 barangays in Las Navas by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Jorge accounted for approximately 3.07% of the total population of Las Navas, which stood at 36,621 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Jorge changed from 1,200 to 1,125, a shift of -6.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Las Navas. Barangay San Jorge is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
