Barangay Molinete

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Molinete is one of the administrative divisions of Laurel in Batangas, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Molinete had a population of 1,829. This made it the 13th largest of 21 barangays in Laurel by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Molinete accounted for approximately 4.23% of the total population of Laurel, which stood at 43,210 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Molinete moving from 1,480 residents to 1,829 residents, an intercensal change of +23.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
