Barangay Rizal

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Rizal is one of the administrative divisions of Lemery in Batangas, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Rizal had a population of 585. This made it the 45th largest of 46 barangays in Lemery by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Rizal accounted for approximately 0.63% of the total population of Lemery, which stood at 93,186 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Rizal moving from 794 residents to 585 residents, an intercensal change of -26.3%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Rizal is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
