Barangay Sinisian East

Barangay Sinisian East is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Lemery, located in the province of Batangas, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Sinisian East had a population of 2,237. This made it the 17th largest of 46 barangays in Lemery by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Sinisian East accounted for approximately 2.40% of the total population of Lemery, which stood at 93,186 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Sinisian East changed from 1,977 to 2,237, a shift of +13.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Lemery. Barangay Sinisian East is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Lemery is a municipality comprising 46 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Sinisian East, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
