Barangay Mapisla

Barangay Mapisla is a very small barangay in the municipality of Licuan-Baay, located in the province of Abra, in the CAR region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Mapisla had a population of 415. This made it the 5th largest of 11 barangays in Licuan-Baay by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Mapisla accounted for approximately 9.09% of the total population of Licuan-Baay, which stood at 4,566 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Mapisla moving from 398 residents to 415 residents, an intercensal change of +4.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
