Barangay Nagsulay

Situated in Lila, Bohol, Barangay Nagsulay is one of 18 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Nagsulay had a population of 1,147. This made it the 1st largest of 18 barangays in Lila by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Nagsulay accounted for approximately 9.37% of the total population of Lila, which stood at 12,240 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Nagsulay moving from 1,070 residents to 1,147 residents, an intercensal change of +7.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Nagsulay as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Lila is a municipality comprising 18 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Nagsulay, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
