Barangay Rajah Cabungso-an

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Rajah Cabungso-an is one of the administrative divisions of Lingig in Surigao Del Sur, Caraga, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Rajah Cabungso-an had a population of 2,511. This made it the 4th largest of 18 barangays in Lingig by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Rajah Cabungso-an accounted for approximately 7.15% of the total population of Lingig, which stood at 35,142 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,251 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,511 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +11.6%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Rajah Cabungso-an is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Lingig is a municipality comprising 18 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Rajah Cabungso-an, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Surigao Del Sur, which contains 309 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Rajah Cabungso-an ranks 74th by 2020 population.
