Barangay Alegria

Situated in Loboc, Bohol, Barangay Alegria is one of 28 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Alegria had a population of 634. This made it the 13th largest of 28 barangays in Loboc by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Alegria accounted for approximately 3.64% of the total population of Loboc, which stood at 17,418 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Alegria changed from 586 to 634, a shift of +8.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Loboc. Barangay Alegria is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
