Barangay Cambance

Situated in Loboc, Bohol, Barangay Cambance is one of 28 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Cambance had a population of 318. This made it the 24th largest of 28 barangays in Loboc by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cambance accounted for approximately 1.83% of the total population of Loboc, which stood at 17,418 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 307 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 318 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +3.6%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Cambance as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Loboc is a municipality comprising 28 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Cambance, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
