Barangay Somoroy

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Somoroy is one of the administrative divisions of Lope De Vega in Northern Samar, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Somoroy had a population of 164. This made it the 19th largest of 22 barangays in Lope De Vega by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Somoroy accounted for approximately 1.12% of the total population of Lope De Vega, which stood at 14,690 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Somoroy moving from 361 residents to 164 residents, an intercensal change of -54.6%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
