Barangay Likas Ng Silangan (Pob.)

Barangay Likas Ng Silangan (Pob.) is a very small barangay in the municipality of Lubang, located in the province of Occidental Mindoro, in the MIMAROPA Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Likas Ng Silangan (Pob.) had a population of 333. This made it the 15th largest of 16 barangays in Lubang by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Likas Ng Silangan (Pob.) accounted for approximately 1.91% of the total population of Lubang, which stood at 17,437 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Likas Ng Silangan (Pob.) changed from 455 to 333, a shift of -26.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Lubang. Barangay Likas Ng Silangan (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Lubang is a municipality comprising 16 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Likas Ng Silangan (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
