Barangay Paraiso (Pob.)

Situated in Lubang, Occidental Mindoro, Barangay Paraiso (Pob.) is one of 16 barangays that make up the municipality within MIMAROPA Region.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Paraiso (Pob.) had a population of 344. This made it the 13th largest of 16 barangays in Lubang by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Paraiso (Pob.) accounted for approximately 1.97% of the total population of Lubang, which stood at 17,437 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Paraiso (Pob.) changed from 362 to 344, a shift of -5.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Lubang. Barangay Paraiso (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Lubang is a municipality comprising 16 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Paraiso (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Occidental Mindoro, which contains 164 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Paraiso (Pob.) ranks 155th by 2020 population.
