Barangay Mamay

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Mamay is one of the administrative divisions of Luna in La Union, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Mamay had a population of 342. This made it the 40th largest of 40 barangays in Luna by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Mamay accounted for approximately 0.92% of the total population of Luna, which stood at 37,318 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Mamay moving from 354 residents to 342 residents, an intercensal change of -3.4%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Mamay as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
