Barangay Colacling

Barangay Colacling forms part of Lupi, a municipality in Camarines Sur, and is classified as a mid-sized barangay.

This made it the 1st largest of 38 barangays in Lupi by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Colacling changed from 3,173 to 2,745, a shift of -13.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Lupi. Barangay Colacling is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Lupi is a municipality comprising 38 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Colacling, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
