Barangay Haguimit

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Haguimit is one of the administrative divisions of Lupi in Camarines Sur, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Haguimit had a population of 257. This made it the 34th largest of 38 barangays in Lupi by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Haguimit accounted for approximately 0.76% of the total population of Lupi, which stood at 33,897 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Haguimit changed from 286 to 257, a shift of -10.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Lupi. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Haguimit as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Lupi is a municipality comprising 38 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Haguimit, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
