Situated in Lupi, Camarines Sur, Barangay San Isidro is one of 38 barangays that make up the municipality within Bicol Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Isidro had a population of 467. This made it the 30th largest of 38 barangays in Lupi by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Isidro accounted for approximately 1.38% of the total population of Lupi, which stood at 33,897 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 326 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 467 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +43.3%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Isidro as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Lupi is a municipality comprising 38 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Isidro, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
