Barangay Anitapan

Barangay Anitapan is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Mabini, located in the province of Davao De Oro, in the Davao Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Anitapan had a population of 3,754. This made it the 6th largest of 11 barangays in Mabini by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Anitapan accounted for approximately 8.62% of the total population of Mabini, which stood at 43,552 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Anitapan moving from 3,737 residents to 3,754 residents, an intercensal change of +0.5%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community.
