Barangay Cadunan

Situated in Mabini, Davao De Oro, Barangay Cadunan is one of 11 barangays that make up the municipality within Davao Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Cadunan had a population of 4,557. This made it the 5th largest of 11 barangays in Mabini by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cadunan accounted for approximately 10.46% of the total population of Mabini, which stood at 43,552 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Cadunan changed from 4,138 to 4,557, a shift of +10.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Mabini. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Cadunan as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Mabini is a municipality comprising 11 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Cadunan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
