Barangay Maligaya (Pob.)

Situated in Mabitac, Laguna, Barangay Maligaya (Pob.) is one of 15 barangays that make up the municipality within CALABARZON.

This made it the 15th largest of 15 barangays in Mabitac by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Maligaya (Pob.) changed from 403 to 330, a shift of -18.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Mabitac. Barangay Maligaya (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
