Barangay Palale 2

Barangay Palale 2 is a small barangay in the municipality of Macarthur, located in the province of Leyte, in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Palale 2 had a population of 1,140. This made it the 5th largest of 31 barangays in Macarthur by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Palale 2 accounted for approximately 5.28% of the total population of Macarthur, which stood at 21,578 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Palale 2 moving from 1,054 residents to 1,140 residents, an intercensal change of +8.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
