Barangay Dolores

Barangay Dolores is a small barangay in the municipality of Magalang, located in the province of Pampanga, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Dolores had a population of 1,640. This made it the 26th largest of 27 barangays in Magalang by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Dolores accounted for approximately 1.32% of the total population of Magalang, which stood at 124,188 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Dolores moving from 1,717 residents to 1,640 residents, an intercensal change of -4.5%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Dolores is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
