Barangay Bito

Barangay Bito is a small barangay in the municipality of Malita, located in the province of Davao Occidental, in the Davao Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Bito had a population of 1,886. This made it the 26th largest of 30 barangays in Malita by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bito accounted for approximately 1.60% of the total population of Malita, which stood at 118,197 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Bito moving from 1,864 residents to 1,886 residents, an intercensal change of +1.2%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community.
