Barangay Sampiano

Barangay Sampiano is a small barangay in the municipality of Malitbog, located in the province of Bukidnon, in the Northern Mindanao region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Sampiano had a population of 1,257. This made it the 10th largest of 11 barangays in Malitbog by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Sampiano accounted for approximately 4.70% of the total population of Malitbog, which stood at 26,741 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Sampiano moving from 1,210 residents to 1,257 residents, an intercensal change of +3.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
