Barangay San Jose Norte I

Barangay San Jose Norte I is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Mallig, located in the province of Isabela, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Jose Norte I had a population of 2,317. This made it the 4th largest of 18 barangays in Mallig by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Jose Norte I accounted for approximately 7.19% of the total population of Mallig, which stood at 32,208 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay San Jose Norte I moving from 2,244 residents to 2,317 residents, an intercensal change of +3.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
