Situated in Malvar, Batangas, Barangay Bilucao is one of 15 barangays that make up the municipality within CALABARZON.

This made it the 13th largest of 15 barangays in Malvar by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bilucao accounted for approximately 3.30% of the total population of Malvar, which stood at 64,379 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Bilucao changed from 1,842 to 2,127, a shift of +15.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Malvar. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Bilucao as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
