Barangay Baye

Situated in Mambusao, Capiz, Barangay Baye is one of 26 barangays that make up the municipality within Western Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Baye had a population of 874. This made it the 22nd largest of 26 barangays in Mambusao by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Baye accounted for approximately 2.15% of the total population of Mambusao, which stood at 40,690 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Baye changed from 841 to 874, a shift of +3.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Mambusao. Barangay Baye is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
