Barangay Sac-sac

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Sac-sac is one of the administrative divisions of Manjuyod in Negros Oriental, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Sac-sac had a population of 767. This made it the 26th largest of 27 barangays in Manjuyod by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Sac-sac accounted for approximately 1.71% of the total population of Manjuyod, which stood at 44,799 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Sac-sac moving from 715 residents to 767 residents, an intercensal change of +7.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Sac-sac is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Manjuyod is a municipality comprising 27 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Sac-sac, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
