Barangay New Manay

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay New Manay is one of the administrative divisions of Maragusan in Davao De Oro, Davao Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay New Manay had a population of 1,044. This made it the 20th largest of 24 barangays in Maragusan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay New Manay accounted for approximately 1.62% of the total population of Maragusan, which stood at 64,412 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay New Manay changed from 1,015 to 1,044, a shift of +2.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Maragusan. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay New Manay as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
