Barangay Bangco

Situated in Maria Aurora, Aurora, Barangay Bangco is one of 40 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Luzon.

This made it the 28th largest of 40 barangays in Maria Aurora by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bangco accounted for approximately 1.70% of the total population of Maria Aurora, which stood at 44,958 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Bangco moving from 676 residents to 766 residents, an intercensal change of +13.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Bangco as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
