Barangay Baubo

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Baubo is one of the administrative divisions of Maria Aurora in Aurora, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Baubo had a population of 683. This made it the 29th largest of 40 barangays in Maria Aurora by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Baubo accounted for approximately 1.52% of the total population of Maria Aurora, which stood at 44,958 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Baubo moving from 642 residents to 683 residents, an intercensal change of +6.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Baubo as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Maria Aurora is a municipality comprising 40 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Baubo, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
