Barangay Bayanihan

Situated in Maria Aurora, Aurora, Barangay Bayanihan is one of 40 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Luzon.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bayanihan had a population of 1,418. This made it the 13th largest of 40 barangays in Maria Aurora by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bayanihan accounted for approximately 3.15% of the total population of Maria Aurora, which stood at 44,958 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Bayanihan moving from 1,425 residents to 1,418 residents, an intercensal change of -0.5%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Bayanihan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
