Barangay Lagtangon

Situated in Maribojoc, Bohol, Barangay Lagtangon is one of 22 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Lagtangon had a population of 217. This made it the 22nd largest of 22 barangays in Maribojoc by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lagtangon accounted for approximately 0.98% of the total population of Maribojoc, which stood at 22,178 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 232 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 217 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -6.5%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Lagtangon is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
