Barangay Nagbalon

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Nagbalon is one of the administrative divisions of Marilao in Bulacan, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Nagbalon had a population of 3,518. This made it the 15th largest of 16 barangays in Marilao by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Nagbalon accounted for approximately 1.38% of the total population of Marilao, which stood at 254,453 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Nagbalon moving from 4,015 residents to 3,518 residents, an intercensal change of -12.4%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Nagbalon as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Marilao is a municipality comprising 16 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Nagbalon, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
