Barangay Bon-Ot Big

Barangay Bon-Ot Big is a small barangay in the municipality of Matnog, located in the province of Sorsogon, in the Bicol Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bon-Ot Big had a population of 1,574. This made it the 6th largest of 40 barangays in Matnog by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bon-Ot Big accounted for approximately 3.75% of the total population of Matnog, which stood at 41,989 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Bon-Ot Big moving from 1,569 residents to 1,574 residents, an intercensal change of +0.3%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community.
