Barangay Caloocan (Pob.)

Situated in Matnog, Sorsogon, Barangay Caloocan (Pob.) is one of 40 barangays that make up the municipality within Bicol Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Caloocan (Pob.) had a population of 1,061. This made it the 20th largest of 40 barangays in Matnog by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Caloocan (Pob.) accounted for approximately 2.53% of the total population of Matnog, which stood at 41,989 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Caloocan (Pob.) moving from 1,246 residents to 1,061 residents, an intercensal change of -14.8%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
