Barangay Camcaman (Pob.)

Barangay Camcaman (Pob.) forms part of Matnog, a municipality in Sorsogon, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Camcaman (Pob.) had a population of 1,123. This made it the 16th largest of 40 barangays in Matnog by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Camcaman (Pob.) accounted for approximately 2.67% of the total population of Matnog, which stood at 41,989 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Camcaman (Pob.) changed from 1,157 to 1,123, a shift of -2.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Matnog. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Camcaman (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Matnog is a municipality comprising 40 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Camcaman (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
