Barangay Tablac (Pob.)

Barangay Tablac (Pob.) is a small barangay in the municipality of Matnog, located in the province of Sorsogon, in the Bicol Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Tablac (Pob.) had a population of 1,449. This made it the 7th largest of 40 barangays in Matnog by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tablac (Pob.) accounted for approximately 3.45% of the total population of Matnog, which stood at 41,989 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Tablac (Pob.) moving from 1,512 residents to 1,449 residents, an intercensal change of -4.2%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Tablac (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
