Barangay Salvacion

Barangay Salvacion is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Mawab, located in the province of Davao De Oro, in the Davao Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Salvacion had a population of 2,114. This made it the 8th largest of 11 barangays in Mawab by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Salvacion accounted for approximately 5.33% of the total population of Mawab, which stood at 39,631 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Salvacion moving from 2,261 residents to 2,114 residents, an intercensal change of -6.5%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
