Barangay Tuboran

Barangay Tuboran is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Mawab, located in the province of Davao De Oro, in the Davao Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tuboran had a population of 3,245. This made it the 4th largest of 11 barangays in Mawab by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tuboran accounted for approximately 8.19% of the total population of Mawab, which stood at 39,631 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Tuboran moving from 2,766 residents to 3,245 residents, an intercensal change of +17.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Tuboran is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
