Barangay Banayad

Barangay Banayad forms part of Mendez, a municipality in Cavite, and is classified as a very small barangay.

This made it the 24th largest of 24 barangays in Mendez by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Banayad moving from 219 residents to 258 residents, an intercensal change of +17.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Banayad as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
