Barangay Bangladan

Barangay Bangladan is a very small barangay in the municipality of Miagao, located in the province of Iloilo, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bangladan had a population of 366. This made it the 67th largest of 119 barangays in Miagao by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bangladan accounted for approximately 0.54% of the total population of Miagao, which stood at 68,115 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Bangladan moving from 348 residents to 366 residents, an intercensal change of +5.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Bangladan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
